Incorporated through Companies House, with the registered office, the PSC register and the authentication code handled. Every statutory date goes on a calendar from the day the company exists.
Incorporation is fast and cheap. What catches founders out is the register that has to be accurate and the dates that arrive whether or not anyone is watching.

How we work
Four rules that keep a company out of trouble
A UK company is easy to form and easy to neglect. Most of the damage we are asked to repair comes from the same four places.
01
The register is accurate, not merely filed
PSC details, share allotments and officer changes are updated when they happen rather than reconstructed the night before a confirmation statement.
An inaccurate PSC register is an offence, not an oversight.
02
Your home address stays off the record
Directors get a service address, so the public register carries ours rather than where you sleep. The registered office is ours too unless you want otherwise.
Statutory mail is scanned and forwarded the day it arrives.
03
Dates are tracked, not remembered
Confirmation statement, annual accounts, Corporation Tax and VAT quarters go on a shared calendar from the day the company exists.
You are told before a deadline, not after it.
04
You hold the authentication code
The Companies House code is yours. We keep a copy to do the work, and you can change it or file without us whenever you want.
Nothing about the structure depends on us staying involved.
Questions
What founders ask about UK companies
Anything else, raise it on the structure call. Questions are free before the filing goes in.
Do I need to live in the UK?
No. A UK limited company has no residency requirement for its directors or shareholders, and you can own and run one from anywhere.
You do need a UK registered office address, which we provide, and banks will apply their own checks — some are straightforward with non-resident directors and some are not. We point you at the ones that are.
How fast is incorporation, really?
Usually the same day, and almost always within 24 hours of Companies House accepting the application. It is genuinely quick.
What takes longer is the rest: a UTR follows by post, VAT registration commonly takes a few weeks, and a bank account depends entirely on the bank.
Will my home address be public?
Not if you use our service address, which is the default. Companies House publishes a director's service address and the company's registered office, and both can be ours.
Your usual residential address is still supplied to Companies House but is not published on the public register.
Do I have to register for VAT?
Only once your taxable turnover passes the registration threshold in a rolling twelve-month period. Below that it is voluntary.
Registering early can be worth it if your customers are VAT-registered businesses and you are buying a lot with VAT on it. It is a worse idea if you sell to consumers. We will tell you which one you are.
Tell us what the company is for
Tell us what the company is for. You get back a structure recommendation, the registrations you actually need, and a fixed figure.
